Introduction

Named after the numerous nutmeg, pepper, and fruit orchard plantations in the 1960’s Orchard Road is now known as one of Asia’s most famous shopping destinations, Orchard Road not only offers many shopping malls with endless stores but also offers many leisure activities and dining destinations where you can enjoy cuisines from all over the world.

Subsequently, Orchard Road is considered to be a central residential area, with many opulent condos and apartments in the area. Furthermore, Orchard Road is extremely accessible with many MRT stations and Bus Stops in the area.

From the many malls in the Orchard area such as ION Orchard, Wheelock Place, TANGS, Ngee Ann City Takashimaya, Paragon, and 313 Somerset / 111 Somerset to name a few, Orchard road covers all your shopping needs from luxury designer goods to home products and groceries from supermarkets FairPrice NTUC / Finest, and Cold storage.

The dining options in the Orchard are as plentiful as shopping options, with an offering from casual restaurants, to cafes and bars to large food courts, you are sure to be able to find food from all around the world at various prices and dining experiences.

Besides driving, you can take North-South Line MZRT stations Orchard and Somerset, and Thomson-East Coast Line MRT Station.
